The Missouri Tigers used one of the most roccus environments in Mizzou Arena history and an 11-0 run at the end of the game to defeat the Kansas Jayhawks 74-71 on Saturday night. Kansas senior guard Tyshawn Taylor missed two potentially game-tying free throws with 42 seconds remaining. The Jayhawks were scoreless in the final 3:24 of the game. Trailing 71-69, Missouri got a 3-pointer from senior guard Marcus Denmon with 56 seconds remaining to take the lead. Kansas junior guard Elijah Johnson missed a 3-pointer to tie as time expired. Denmon finished with 29 points and nine rebounds for the Tigers, and junior guard Michael Dixon added 15 points off the bench for Frank Haith's squad. Junior forward Thomas Robinson and Taylor led the way for the Jayhawks with 25 and 21 points, respectively. Stay tuned to Kansan.com for more updates on the game.
